2005 dodge neon sxt po0016 misfires at 3000 rpm when car warms up
Vehicle misfires above 3000 rpm. only does this when car warms up. has po0016 code. have changed cam and crank sensors. checked timing belt. the marks are right on. could this be a harness issue or maybe faulty cam sensor.

Not sure here as its one of THEM but thinking about this ?? difficult with my one brain cell but from experiance of europeon cars especially opel and renaults i do know that computer failts when the vehicle warms up is not uncommon ,so unplug the computer and make sure the connections are not corroded on them little pins and a spray with WD 40 will not go amiss ,now look for the location of the computer and if its in a position where it gets the heat from the engine then mount a 12v computer cooling fan one of the bigger ones and rig it up so it comes on with the ignition and blows against the computer ,these cars i have worked on for a service but thats about all and i cannot remember the location of the units but like the opel zafiro where the computer is mounted to the inlet manifold they do suffer from this fault you describe so have a good look and if the computer is too close to the engine then attempt to move it a bit and fit the fan and see what happens ??
