2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250 I bought it as a project So the guy who had it drop it at a construction zone and broke all the plastices He had the bike sitting in the backYard for 5 years it only has 2,423 miles on it I Overfill the motor Thinking it was empty with motor oil I ran it for about 1 minute started throwing white smoke I turned it off Went online and found out The motor has a oil level meter I filled it up to the Screw on Cover where you put oil in I drain the oil out and had put 4 quarts of extra oil Oil got into sprint plugs carburetor and the air filter I Pulled the Spark plugs out and crank the motor over and over til It threw everything out and wouldn't spit nothing but clean air I clean the carburetor With carburetor cleaner And washed clean the air box and air filter I Put new spark plugs And turned it on But it Throw out blue smoke out the exhaust pipe Ran it for about 3 minutes and it would not Stop from Throwing blue smoke I'm waiting for the bike to cool off so I could take off the spark plugs and check it again What else could be wrong with it???
If you over filled the motor that much and you got it into all the components you say, then it's probably going to smoke for a while longer. You probably have motor oil in the exhaust. That's probably what you're seeing. If it doesn't stop after running it a couple of times maybe a couple of test rides then I would do a compression check just to make sure. Then a leak down test to make sure the rings are ok. I would run it for a while first. That amount of oil will take a bit to burn off.
