2005 Kawasaki Ninja EX250 Bought it as is Guy who had it fell off and all plastics broke Bike was sitting for 4 years Bike cranks over and And starts If you give it full throttle and hold it at full throttle And I have to hold the crank Button If you let go of the crank Button then the bike Turns off I took off the oil cap and seen it had a little bit of oil towards the bottom Filled it up with motor oil I had it running for about 1 minute Then it started throwing white smoke What do you thinks wrong with it? Or what could I Check or do? Brown water Mix with oil started to come out by air filter box they have a tube coming out on the driver side it Kipe pouring out and then clean oil started coming out Leaked out a total of 1 to 2 quarts of oil
It sounds like you have seriously over-filled the oil. This is not a good idea and can cause seals to blow out, blow by at the piston rings and in severe cases, possibly bent connecting rods. Drain the oil off and fill to spec. Sometimes they give the oil capacity on the side of the engine, in ml. measurement. For example a bike I have says: 1600ml If you don't know the conversion into quarts and can't find it anywhere on the internet, you can buy a cheap measuring container that has a metric reading on it. I hope this helps you out, Good luck!
