2006 eclipse gt, left ignition on by mistake and ran battery down. Manual transmission so pushed it off to start it and now the service engine soon light is on. What happened? thx

Run the fault codes first then use the scan tool to reset the ECM
Neighbor had a scan tool and the fault indicated was misfiring on the number 4 cylinder. He removed the "Service Engine Soon" light and the car runs fine. Thx for input.
Have vehicle scanned for the trouble code can be hundreds of different reasons most auto stores offer this service for free
