Disconnect and remove battery it'll make it much easier to get to everything. Disconnect and remove air filter box, and unplug wires to move out of your way. Unscrew the 2 x 10 mm bolts holding the ECM. And disconnect the smaller plug on the ECM... then pull the box aside to give yourself more room. Unscrew the 3 x 10 mm bolts to the fuse box... then pull the fuse box away from the fender there are two black snaps that will release with a good tug. Now is the good stuff (taking apart the fuse box) ... you need a small screwdriver to separate the plastic clips all around to release top and bottom plastic housing section of the fuse box.... easier than it looks.Disconnect and remove battery it'll make it much easier to get to everything. Then , using a tiny screwdriver, you'll need to release the clips on the inside near the front of the fusible link and then the back of the black fuse strip and you should be able to slide both sections down and out of the plastic casing. Once out, unscrew the 110 mm bolt holding the fusible link and the black fuse bar together... then you will unplug the two wire harnesses and unscrew the 2 blue and 2 *********** wires using a 10 mm and an 8 mm. -- there you have the fusible link. Once you've bought the new part put everything back together in reverse. There should be locking clips on both sides of the link. Unclip the locks & remove & replace it. relock upon replacement.
