2009 Smart Cabriolet instrament cluster blank
I had a new battery installed and they tried to supply an alternate power source to keep the clock set. The new battery started the car but no instrument cluster lights, blinkers, and head lights work but no dimming. Car runs fins=e otherwise. I unhooked the new battery to try to reset but no difference. I am 200 miles from dealer!

I wouldnt have used the power supply ,just reset the clock afterwards ,i think you have damaged the dash unit this is like a mini computer at the back of it and iam wondering if the power was inadverntly reversed polarity .expensive repair unless you can find on in a scrapyard
