Most V6 and V8 cylinder numbering tends to be reasonably standard. Try this. Stand with the engine belts and pulleys nearest to you. you should have three cylinders on the left side and three on the right side. Left side is Bank One, Right side is Bank Two. The most common layout is Bank One is odd numbers and Bank Two is even numbers. For a V6= Bank One is Cylinder No 1 nearest to you, No 3 is in the middle and No 5 is furthest away.
