-2[3x-5 (2x-3)]=3x-8 how do I do the brackets and the equal sign in this equation? When I try to use the regular = sign in the bottom right I get a syntax error?
For the brackets [ ] use the parentheses, because that is what brackets are: a typographical variation of parentheses. In some other contexts (and on other calculators) they may mean an array(table, list, etc) but not on this one.For the brackets [ ] use the parentheses, because that is what brackets are: a typographical variation of parentheses. Use the other = sign obtained by pressing [ALPHA][CALC]. You also use the[ALPHA] key before entering X,Y,A,B,C.D variables.
The = sign at the bottom that gave you syntax errors is in fact an EXECUTE command. It used to be marked [EXE] on Casio calculators
