1stly try the Kingstone in another PC - if it works in another PC you have 1 of 4 problems:
1] You are using a very old version of Windows and therefore would require drivers for the memory stick. (i.e. Windows 95 or Windows 98)
2] Your USB ports are faulty - try the ports at the back of the PC instead of the ones in the front if you have not done so already
3] There is a virus on your memory stick and it is attempting to load an executable file when u plug it in and that is causing it to fail.
4] It is detecting fine but you cant read it because the FAT (File allocation table) is damaged in which case it will need to be formatted.
I will need some more info though - for example:
Does windows say "Hardware detected" when u plug it in? Are you getting any lights flashing on the memory stick? What do you see when u click on my computer? Does is show up at all but u just cant open it?
