My 3 disc Phillips cd player sometimes skips. It is not the cds because it always skips in different areas of the cds. The same cd will skip during one instance of use then play seamlessly in another instance of use. Sometimes it will play for awhile then start skipping. Other times it skips as soon as I turn it on. It does not matter which of the 3 players/slots I use.
This problem began approximately one week ago after 3-4 years of usage without any problem.  I appreciate your assistance.
