Drum Cleaning Blade failure. Open up the top half of the machine as if you were removing a paper jam. Now look under the top half and about in the center from left to right. You should see a burgundy colored cylinder running from the front of the machine to the back. If you can see the toner streaks on the surface....expecially on the 1/3rd like on the copy then this will be proof that the drum cleaning blade is the cause. Simple repair for a tech that knows copier basics. A good estimated cost would be about $25.00 for the blade and whatever the going rate is for a service call in your area.
