3 thin lines once it's on for a few minutes. If I hit the back of the TV the lines might turn to one thin line then might disappear until the next time I turn the TV on. Is my tv going bad or is it something cheap that can be fixed?

Check your connectors to the screen and screen driver board. Clean them with electronics grade alcohol. Don't pound on your tv. You'll cause more problems than you will,solve.
