37. suddenly just shut off and would not turn back on, no blinking green light nothing!
I have a Magnavox 37MF321D/37. One day i was watching the tv and it suddenly just shut off and would not turn back on, no blinking green light nothing. I took the power supply to a repair shop and had him solder on new capacitors and put in a new fuse, he told me he would do it but said it looked like a lot more was wrong with the power supply then just that. I took it home, plugged it in and the fuse immediately blew.Should I buy a new power supply board or just scrap the Tv????

Price the board first and then decide, I fix these in our shop but do not like or enjoy working on them at all.
I just found a 42mf531d/37 power supply board p5p164140272 Magnavox Philips on ebay for 40$ do you think it is compatible or should i worry about it being a fire hazard?? Thank you for your comment btw.
