3D live view is black
The 3D live view is initially black. I can only see the images if I hold the mouse button down -- which is annoying. I can also see if I hold down the mouse button over the arrow. I have Windows Vista OS

A fix for my setup (Windows Vista, Dell Latitude D530, Mobile Intel Chipset 965 Express) was to reduce the screen's colour depth from 32 bit to 16 bit. Do this via Control Panel->Adjust screen resolution.
16-bit colour depth fixes it. Thanks. Funny, the help recommends the following which also does NOT WORK:
On the Start menu, click Settings, Control Panel. The Control Panel program group is displayed.
Double-click Display. The Display Properties dialog box is displayed.
Click the Settings page tab.
In the Colors list box, click True Color (32-bit).
In the Screen Area section, move the slider to display at least 1024x768 pixels.
Click OK. The new window settings are applied. You may be prompted to restart your computer to apply the new settings. If so, click OK or Yes.
Thanks fswane! I had the identical problem, and your solution worked perfectly for me. Thumbs up!
