4 depressed and held. Once released the van stalls. If I put it in gear it stalls. I've removed the vac line to the fuel pressure regulator and my symptoms are the same. I thought perhaps that might be the cause of my problem. No trouble codes retrieved using rental tool

Hi, this is usually caused by a big vacuum leak. Pull the hose from the brake booster and plug it. Check any other hose connected to the intake manifold for a leak. Try plugging the evap port or other non-essential vacuum ports until you find one that let's it idle. Could also be a wide-open EGR valve.
