Report "4 HP DuraGlas pump (A5D-120L) for my inground pool. The pump has worked fine for many years but lately it has problems starting. When I turn on the power switch, the pump will attempt to start but withing 5 to 10 seconds the overtemp sensor kicks in and the pump stops. This cycle will occur a half dozen or more times but the pump does eventually start and will run fine for as long as the power is not turned off. As soon as the power is turned off to the pump, the same half dozen or more trys are needed over a 10 minute period to get the pump started again. Any idea what can be causing the problem? Can it be repaired or do I need a new pump?"
