4 inch cable it sounded fine, but when I plug a microphone in with an XLR cable it starts hissing. Its not the cable because the same cable that hisses on the A input works fine on the B input. And likewise things that worked fine on the B input crackle on the A input. I use phantom power with all the microphones, could this be the problem? I don't know
