Sounds like the actual lamp may be having issues as well. At this point it's extremely tough to say. Does the control / brightness help and just doesn't fix it?

Do you have convergance settings in the menu settings? If not, I would still test the caps and IC's on the convergance board and again on Z board. Just double check connections, and caps
