Paragon no longer makes timers, except for commercial defrost series. There is a cheap knock-off that looks like the old 4001, but I cannot find seller any longer and do not recommend.
Instead, order 120Volt Intermatic T101 timer to replace Paragon 4001. Intermatic makes replacement clock motors and trippers for T100 series, so this timer will last decades.
Tork also makes a line of mecanical timers sold through home depot under GE brand name: http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#15145 These are also good timers, but lighter construction than Intermatic T101.
