42 in plasma RCA tv won't power on just makes a clicking noise after trying it a couple of times the clicking sound stopped and still nothing happens took it to a repair person he said it was 2 boards that went out he got parts and he said he can smell them getting hot and that RCA does not support this model # 42PA30RQ the tv is only a little over a year old can this be true he said to buy a new tv is this really true? Please help!

Its possible that the repair man lied if it is an rca then call the company and have them send you replacements. of course this will require money but less than a new tv
