481 doesn't work
OK, here's the background. Installed about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine. Bettery went dead a couple of days ago and after the car was jumped it quit working. Both the radio fuse and the amp fuse were replaced, all the wiring checked. When the power is turned on, the red light lights momentarily, but the green power light never comes on. The unit lights up like power is there, but the unit will not start.

Did that to mine. Bat went dead and went to jump the car. What happends is when you attach the jumper cables, it surges the power to the amp. This gets worse with caps. I would say you blew the relay in the amp and needs to be replaced. It is worth fixin but youll have to send it off or take it to a repair shop to have the new relay put in
