What type of motherboard and as for the 800/533 that sounds like memory speed not processor, you will also need to know the pin count on your mobo, to match your processor for example 775 or 1366,1166, looks like the processor you want to install is a 775, but i would make sure your mobo has the same pin count, take the part # from your mobo and manufacture and get back to me if you want :)

NO.. it will not work.. since quad core uses chipset 775 which is smaller..
