550 problem: drain tube heater installed recently but freezing continues. a blanket was suggested by the repair person to keep the drain from freezing. Said the frost may be coming up from the freezer as the insulation is wet. In lieu of buying a new refrigerator due to the temp.fluctuation in the top is it possible to shut the freezer off and let the insulation dry out or can it be replaced. thanks

Cannot be replaced. I would shut off the freezer. If doesn't work check for air getting into fill tube area from outside the rear.
