Have a look for a small hole in the front of the CD player - this is the emergency eject button. Find a paper clip, unwind it and then press the paper clip through the hole - the CD should then eject the first CD and you will then be able to eject the others.
Remove covers (top and bottom). Exposing workings of player. If you carefully lift the unit out of casing, you'll see @ rear of unit some vertical, threaded bars. These turn and raise/lower the play system. By lowering the play system to it's lowest position this should let you pull cd through front of player.
The locking mechanism required a little 'prising' but it appeared that one of the rotor wheels (shaped like a bobbin) had come out of its place.
