Ive read a bit on this forum about the center/sub swap and surround/back swaps.

With no swaps on and Vista sound options set to 7.1, Razor control set to 7.1 then doing a test tone gives no output on SL or SR
With HD-DAI on (Razor automatically seems to select swap surround/back when I choose this) SL and SR now work but no sound from RL or RR
Vista just wont output a tone from all 7.1 speakers in its sound test even though the setup is using the HD-DAI cable which was meant to eliminate such problems I understood.
