If the glass is manually pushed down after opening the door it moves down, clears and returns up as door shuts. Is this a failing motor unit, loose mechanical attachment, binding(not apparent) or programing problem? I tried the window programing sequence I read on line awhile back with no effect

Hello there Do you hear any funny noises when you try to roll the window down or up? If yes you will need to replace the window regulator.Here is part number 996 624 102 06 If the window rools up and down without any noise the regulator might be ok and you will need a micro switch for the door handle ,which controls the upper movement of the window. part number 996 613 125 00 Of course the best is yo look behind the door panel and see.... i hope this will help you
