8 Zone Expander not recognized by Alarm Panel - is there a way to register the PC5108 expander with the DSC PC1616 using the 5500 Keypad
I have a DSC Alarm Panel (PC1616) and am adding four(4) Optex outdoor devices, which will connect using an inovonics receiver. Everything is registered up to the 4232MR Receiver, but the 8 zone expander (PC5108) is not recognized by the alarm panel. Instructions indicate entering 'Section [902] and Section [903], but I am unsure how to do it with only the 5500 keypad as access. Do I need to format the expander via DLS software?
