8525 smart phone screen
My screen looks like it has been burned .a black blurry blob little bigger than a quarter with things that look a little like leaves shooting out from it. had worked fine just a short time before and had it on sleep ....when turned screen back on is when blob appeared ...can not get it to go away nor can I get anything else up on it ...... also.can not get phone to turn off without taking battery out

Have you dropped your phone a lot? some times that can smash the LED screen on your phone which will create the blog you are speaking of. I've seen that in a few phones, two were family members of mine. There was not really any way around it. If you have the replacement plan from your provider you'd be able to pay a small fee to fix it otherwise they will replace it if they cant fix it--depending on the plan and provider of course.
Also, make sure to recycle your phone to prevent lead/mercury from contaminating the land fills. There are various places you can do that even at your phone provider in case you need to get a new phone.
