I have an 88 ford ranger 2.3L 2x4 with a new block the truck sat for a long time both w/ and w/out the new block. I took it to a guy who got it fired for me but the rodents trashed the wiring. I am looking to put this motor in a ranger w/ engine and wiring compatibility. I don't want to waste the money my dad spent (1300) on the motor. I thought it would be easy to find a truck to put this motor in. My friend thinks this motor will fit rangers 87-93. I need help/ pointers tracking down a truck that is compatible w/ this engine for a swap. Web sites and salvage yards have been no luck. I am a decent car guy but not an engine guy, please help
