91' Olds Cutlass Sup shifting hard especially when shifting down to first
Hi,
Just bought a 91 Olds Cutlass sup 66K miles, had to get the motor mounts fixed, now you can really tell what the transmission is doing. When taking off as it gets to higher gears it shifts harder, jerks, but when you stop and it goes back down to first there is a bigger, harder ****. What could it be?

I Would bet that this has to be a gearbox problem. it may range from anything between lubrication problem to worn out gear box mounts. Give it a good service and some lubrication and see if it fixes the issue.
Check the vacume or cable kick down and band adjustment this could be causing the problem.
