Been working on this car 2 days every once in awhile it will run perfect and then sometimes he started up in it and it won't go over 20 miles an hour just started sputtering spitting like and running out of fuel

I would pick up the On Board Diagnostic tool from the auto parts store and see what kind of error codes it gives you.
