95 Ford Ranger electrical
My windshield wipers turn on intermittently and then won't shut off until I mess with the switch. Also, the temp guage will shoot up to read half when the vehicle is cold.

Replace the Relays under the hood 2 are for the wipers 1 is for the horn mine got so bad I only had high speed, I replaced the switch the motor and the GEM module finally found the relay and 7 bucks a pop it fixed it simple.
The wiper switch is most likely bad. Check the coolant level for the temp. issue. Low coolant will cause a gauge to shoot up suddenly
