Dosen't have lifters. It's overhead cams and buckets. Take tube and listern for exactly were the tick is coming from. Becarefull not to hit the fans or pulleys. Possibly one of the 'diaphram valves' controlling airflow through the rubber pipes. If it's comeing from the cam covers it could be oil slow to get to the top. You could try restarting after different intervils. I've seen an engine that rattles after start up only when it's been off for more than a day.
Sounds like a lifter is bleeding down and when the car is started it is pumping back up because the oil pump is putting pressure in the system. I would have someone check for a weak lifter or adjust the rocker arm clearance.
