98 ford ranger xl 2.5 liter
I put in a new thermostat. all went well. after temp. went back to normal i don't have any power. my neighbor has a handheld computer for checking all the info and data, it comes up good,did put in a new fuel filter. still no power when i throttle up.did'nt disconnect anything but the thermo housing. whats up?

Did you check to make sure everything is plugged in like for instance the tps(throttle position sensor)? did you plug the temp sensor(it's on the intake near the thermostat housing)?did you somehow disconnect a vaccum hose to the intake(check the EGR valve)? check to make sure all your plug wires are on tight. keep me posted
