98 zx2 trans slipping??
When putting my 98 zx2 177k miles into drive or reverse after star up it accelerates fine but after a minute or two it starts to slip very bad is there anyway to fix this problem its my girlfriends car thatnk you

Yes there is a way to fix this problem--- it needs another transmission--- since she does not want to spend the big bucks--- a used one will cost about $450.00.
And since she's got you to do the labor to swap it for her!!--- free.
Or try using a product called " Trans X "available at most auto parts store.
You will have to remove a quart of trans fluid from the pan and then add the product,---follow the instructions on the can.
Normally this works well but it's a short time fix.
I have used this product on a 2000 Zx and got like another 6000 miles on a trany that had 215,000 miles.
