This is a common issue with the travel scooters. It is usually an easy fix without having to replace the key-switch. You need the following tools: Good eyesight and / or good glasses to see down inside the key switch. A strong, thin needle. A jewelers flat screwdriver or eyeglass screwdriver. The broken key inside the switch will have a flat back and a toothed topped. The toothed side moves a series of spring loaded pins inside the lock. With the switch turned to the off position... Place the jewelers screwdriver down inside the switch where the key's teeth are, pushing back the spring pins, and getting leverage under one of the teeth to lift the key out. The needle is used to release friction and back pressure off the key back against the switch housing. Work it carefully and be patient. Once the key piece is out try ebay for a replacement if needed. A common key number for Pride scooters is the A126
