A key for a two lever lock was used in a four lever lock and seems to have set some levers to locked while others are unlocked. Now the correct key can't unlock the lock. How can I fix this?

Take the lock out of the door. strip it down and reset the levers.
more likely to be a 3 or 5 lever lock. 4 are not available.
