a long bolt going down to the bottom of the battery. Remove the nut or bolt depending on what type hold down u have. Remove battery (careful, it's heavy. Hopefully it has a strap handle on it to make it easier to lift). Put the new battery in position MAKE SURE THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE POSTS ON THE BATTERY ARE IN THE SAME POSITION AS THE ONE U REMOVED. Check the ends of the cables, where they attach to the battery. Is there any white powdery deposits on them? Get a small wire brush, or a small piece of fine sandpaper, and clean off the battery cables where they will attach to the battery. If there was a lot of build up of the white crud, it may be why your battery went ka-put. OK, now that the cables are clean and shiny, attach the positive cable 1st. MAKE SURE U CONNECT THE POSITIVE CABLE TO THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL. LOOK For the + sign on the battery. Wiggle it back and forth while pushing down 'til it's on (or side mount, just put bolt in and tighten). Negative cable goes on next, (NEGATIVE ALWAYS LAST WHEN PUTTING BACK ON), AND AGAIN, MAKE SURE NEGATIVE CABLE CONNECTS TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL look for -- sign on battery), Re-attach battery hold down. Let me know how u do! countrycurt0
