Absolutely no power to my Lasko 5540 heater
When I plugged in the heater I noticed that there was no power at all. I tried several outlets in the house and still nothing. I can not find any indication of it shorting out/burning out. Thanks

There is a thermal fuse in line with the power chord. Open your heater housing up and trace the power cord. It is located inside a white teflon sleeve. Locate the fuse and either replace it with the same value. Appliance repair shops will have them in stock. If you want heat right away, cut out the fuse and jumper the 2 wires together. Instant heat.
