AC unit will not kick on
I have a Protech Model 500 thermostat. The thermostat LED shows the heat is suppose to be running (little fan rotating in the lower left hand corner). However it is not.
The unit came on once intermittently, but not again since.
I have replaced the 60Amp breaker, so it is not a power issue.
The unit worked fine before a recent cold snap here in Florida.
The unit is a "Payne" Model # PF1MNCO30

Sounds like spark ignition coil bad the little fan combustion fan will run even after a fail ign attempt.
turn off power/restore power the unit will try to fire the part is easilly avail and easy to replace
