Accelerating problems with my four wheeler
My four wheeler is a 04 sportsman 400. when it is in high gear and i press the throtle it revs up but it barely moves. the belt is brand new so i dont think that is the problem.after a few seconds it will ''catch'' and take off, still running a little rough. i have been told that it mite b a spring in the clutch or the transmission.

The problem sure is with the clutch, try having a professional have a look at it, you might need to change the clutch, the symptoms you mentioned can be cause by a worn-out (slippery) clutch.
