Accent acoustics no power with transformer
I've lost the original power source transformer to my accent acoustics speakers, but see this unit (of 2 speakers and one subwoofer) is run by a 9v transformer. I have several 9v adapters in my "electronics box" and have tried them. However, none of them will bring power to the woofer and speakers. What do you think is the problem. Is it internal in the unit itself, or does it have to do with an improper transformer. Thanks for your help. Kathy Trawick

I have the same problem at the moment. I cannot find my power cord either.
One thing I noticed is that the polarity of this connection is opposite of all of my other 9V power adapters. The 'pole' is negative on this speaker set. That means that the inside of the plug (the hole) has to be the negative. See if that might be your problem. Finding an adapter with the correct polarity and amperage is key. I am trying to figure out the amperage by searching the web.
