These lights stay steady on when plugging in the modem. Why? It is not on standby. The only way I can get it to work again is if I plug in the cable as I power it up, sometimes that doesn't even work.

usually, when booting up, the power light goes off and the one beneath it starts blinking and so on. However, it does not go in this sequence. It fires up, says there is PC/Activity when there is no cable plugged in other than the power and coax. Is there any solution to this?
