Actual colour of objects do not appear accuratly on display or when developed? What do I need to do?
I take close ups of garden flowers. Reds come out pink. Purples come out blue. I tried white balance, background colour, lighting. What am I missing or don't understand?

On page 77 of the manual is the WB settings.

To start (quick check if nothing is wrong with the camera) put it in automatic mode. Put the mode dial in Auto or SR Auto.
No other option. Then shoot some pictures. these should have a normal colour.
