You need to set the correct resolution for your monitor,
To do this, minimize all windows, and right click on your desktop (not on an icon). Select properties, and go to Settings on the tabs on top.
Drag the slider until your resolution matches that of the monitor. I use mine on 1600 x 1050. However if your card doesn't go that high, try either the next ones down until it looks normal, or try a driver update for your graphics card.
