If your TV works for a short period and then the image disappear it's likely the LCD inverter that powers the CCFL backlight. therefore what you will likely need is to change the inverter. I assume that is you If you let the TV cool down for a while (or use it next day) then you keep having the same problem. I have the opposite problem where the picture appears after 30 minutes, then stays on. As annoying as it is it's less of a problem because as long as I let the LCD war up for 30 min. then I can use the TV. Unfortunately in your case the TV is only usable for 30 minutes. You can buy a used/refurbished one on ebay or you could head over to lcdparts.net where the inverter is available at $150 (this was the lowest i could find in online stores).
