Do you have to be accelerating? If not , then you have one of the following issues. The fuel pickup sock is clogged. A fuel hose is pinched. Did you have this problem before the new filter? I would guess that is why you replaced it??? If not, check the direction of the filter.

Try removing the gas cap. If the problem disappears its because you have a vacuum in the tank .. caused by a blocked breather
