After a lightning storm, my LIftmaster Formula 1 garage door opener will not close without continually holding down the garage door button on the wall. If you push the button once and then let go it will stop and immediately go back up. Note that you can open the garage door with the remote, keypad or by hitting the button on the wall. However closing is the problem. I have replaced the light bulbs (which burned out in the lightening storm) and reset the 4 digit code. The problem persists. I'm wondering if the logic board may have been fried, although there are no signs of electrical damage. Thanks - David

If when the door reverses the main light flashes 10 times you have a problem with the door sensors. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. They must be pointed at one another for both lights to be on. If you cannot get the lights to come on you have a bad logic board.
