After a power outage, monitor won't turn on
We plugged in a drill to an outlet and it sparked. The circuit went out and the breaker had to be reset. this was the circuit that had the computer and monitor on it. Once the power was back on, the monitor will not turn on (the computer does turn on). It is a Princeton VL1916. How do I get the monitor to work?

Anytime there is an electrical surge the weakest part is the "Inverter" inside your monitor. It is two pencil size tubes that generates the DC power to the backlight of your monitor. Bring to repair shop and ask to look at the inverters. Once changed it will work fine
