After a windy day lost wireless connection
I have no wireless connection between my access point and my bridge. I cannot log into the access point using the ip address that was assigned when we set it up. I tried to go back to the default address of 192.168.1.1 but that number is assigned to our internet dsl modem. I bypassed the dsl modem thinking that perhaps 192.168.1.1 would then work. No luck. I don't know if there is any way to log into the firmware for the EOC3220EXT that is my bridge without knowing what the ip might have been reset to. I think that Engenius support may tell me to send it in for a new transmitter repair job. Do you know of anyway to get to the firmware, or even install an upgrade to the firmware if I don't know the address of the access point? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For a new unit disconnect the eoc from the network and connect directly (through POE injector of course) to your laptop/pc. then in network connections setup your lan port TCP/IP settings as follows. ip 192.168.1.10 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 then gateway 192.168.1.1
point your browser to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 (one if it is in AP mode and the other address works if it is in bridge mode).
When configuring, I assign it an new static IP outside of the DHCP assignment range.
To see how it is setup afterwords you can use hyperterminal with a null modem cable to view the current config. instructions on the engeniustech.com support page.
